Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Physiotherapist located in Bengaluru. The Physiotherapist will assess, plan, and implement personalized therapy interventions for individuals with multiple disorders. This will include facilitating physical therapy sessions to improve motor function, mobility, and overall physical health. Additionally, the role will involve collaborating with educators, caregivers, and other specialists to create and execute comprehensive care plans to support the holistic development of each individual.
Qualifications
- Proficient in physiotherapy techniques, exercises, and therapy modalities tailored to individuals with motor or neurological impairments
- Experience with therapy for conditions such as CP, ASD, MR, or other developmental disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop, document, and adapt individual therapy plans based on each student's progress and needs
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to improving the physical well-being of individuals with special needs
- Relevant degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/Bachelor of Physiotherapy or higher); certification in pediatric physical therapy is a plus
- Previous experience in a special needs care or educational setting is advantageous
- A deep understanding of safety protocols and infection control in therapeutic settings
